LGBT am I the only one who thinks this?

I am NOT religious.I'm 16 and I'm gay. The whole concept of religion sound very funny to me. It sounds like a bedtime story someone made up one day to help their kid fall asleep. Like "There is this magical guy who could walk on water and he's so great. He died for you! And there's this magical place called heaven that you go there when you die. Everyone will love you when your there. And you'll be safe and all your friends and family will be there and i will all be okay." It sounds so CRAZY for someone to believe this. I'm not bashing religion I just want to see if other people think this or think the concept of it all sounds like a crazy person. What do you all think? And are you gay or straight so I can get a good perspective. And before all of the strongly religious people say I'll pray for you, or your go to hell, save it. I don't need your "prayers". Oh yeah, and when people pray, they are praying to.....what exactly?
