Having trouble housing puppy?

There are dog walkers you can hire during the day, or you can teach the dog to use a pee pad and give him a doggie pen. I did this, because like you, my parents followed basically NONE of my rules while I was gone. I dropped Jake off at their house and when I came back, his bed in his crate was soaked with urine, and he gained 3 pounds in one weekend! They fed him treats that were people food. You can buy a doggie pen at most pet stores. Set it up so he has a bed and toys and water, and then a pee pad in the corner. Teach him to go on the pad, and you can leave him alone. I know this isn't your ideal, and you don't want him to be alone, but it is better than your family overruling everything you have taught your puppy.
