Why is my dog crying when I touch her ear?

It's so strange! She is a small dog, a pomeranian, and very over dramatic about pain. Both of her ears were dirty a little while ago, and we cleaned them out and there is no more dirt in them, and their not red. But if sometimes if I touch her ear then she cries, sometimes she doesn't. Sometimes she cries really REALLY loud, and sometimes she cries without me even touching her. I think she just wants attention, but my parents keep getting mad at me every time she cries, even when I don't do anything and it's really pissing me off. She had a huge clump of matted up hair behind her ear and we took it out two weeks ago, so they shouldn't still be aggravated. Please help!
