Well, I think that your Aunt may be having some problems... Menopause maybe? haha but seriously, she could be having some problems of her own and so she judges everyone else. It's not at all right that she's saying that, she shouldn't be, but sometimes people that are going through something internally are mean and don't think of how what they say will effect other people. I'm very sorry that you have to deal with that, but instead of fighting her, which is obviously not helping, try spending time alone, going for walks etc... and avoiding her as much as possible and when she says those things, ignore them, just nod your head and block them out. There is no way to change what she is saying or why she is saying those things, the best thing to do is to be the bigger person and not let them effect you, no matter how hard that is.
