Martial Arts and Hypermobility...?

Hypermobility has only one treatment, that is the strengthening of the muscles around your joints. In strengthening the surrounding muscles to your hypermobile joints, you will provide support for those joints and relieve the pain by a substantial amount. Now, this will not happen immediately, and you should seek a medically certified personal trainer, to make sure you are doing it correctly and not injuring your joints. If you do not strengthen the muscle surrounding your joints you are likely to develop osteoarthritis later in life. If you go to a doctor specializing in joint disorders, he should be able to write you a prescription for a personal trainer, and your insurance may be able to pay for it. As far as your martial arts training, you should probably take a brake until you have strengthened the muscles in you hypermobile joints. You could be in danger of dislocation or other injury. You might also want to pick up some Sombra from a chiropractor. Sombra is a pain reliving creme that works wonders for my joints. It is like icy-hot and biofreeze, but a hundred times better and doesn't smell nearly as bad as they do. I hope this helps.
