First relationship help?

Ok me and my boyfriend have been dating for a while and he says i love you to me and says he cares for me all the time. We were skyping one time and i thought he was being kindof aggravating because he was just acting a little disrespectful. we got off and i wondered if he had a problem with our relationship and if he was annoyed with me or something bc he was acting differently. i couldnt skype him back so i messaged him asking him this and he said that he was sorry and that he wasnt annoyed with me. i replied oh ok do you have a problem being in a relationship with me then...and he didnt reply back. i feel hurt bc i dont know whats wrong or if he still wants to be in a relationship. should i just let it go and move on from this and let him come to me? or should i be kind of clingy and tell him that i would like an answer from him? this is long distance in different countries so i cant text or call him.....
