Honestly does he love me?

hes my best friend we are both 19 yrs old weve known eachother for 4 yrs. he was all in love with me the 1st yr we meet but i had a bf who i was in love with so the second year he got a gf and i broke up with mine and started falling for him. the third yr we started messing around and we were eachothers 1st (as in we lost it to each other) so ever since he confesed that he love me and his gf the same. and he tells me he loves me all the time and we see each other every other day. now that its the 4th year weve known each other i feel like im in love with him and he tells me he loves me to but he rarely shows it.we ve only had sex once hes gng on 2 yrs with his gf and although im not 100% sure hes still with her i sometimes see him texting her while were together. but he tells me he loves me and he seems so positive that we are meant for eachoother. yet im scared to ask him about his gf and why havent me and him gotten any further than where we are. im scared of what he will tell me. i guess id rather have him half way than not at all. i ask my self does he love her more? then wy does he still look for me? its not like i give him sex bcus weve only done it once. why does he sound so sencior when he tells me he loves me? does he really love me?
